It was my first time to attend the Feast Conference in 2021 and I was excited throughout the whole week. It was the first time I ever felt such excitement. I was genuinely sad that it was over. It gave me new perspectives in life and faith. It made me appreciate the value of community and reminded me that indeed, we are designed to be connected to other people.

During the first day of KCON 2019 when Bro. Bo asked us to kneel and repent for our sins, I felt an overflow of Grace. To declare that He is our King and our desire to be renewed was truly a powerful experience. Naalala ko lahat ng kasalanan ko kahit yung mga di ko napapansin kasi lagi ko ng ginagawa. At sa pagluhod ko, yung sakit sa tuhod ay nagpaalala saakin na hindi ako diyos. Ako’y tao lamang. Wala akong kontrol at hindi ko kailangang kontrolin ang lahat. God is in control of everything including my own life. How humbling and comforting it is. I don’t need to worry because my life is in the hands of a powerful and mighty God who loves me beyond measure.

As a leader, the conference have given me the bravery to show weakness to my team and to apologize to them for being too number-driven. I said sorry for focusing too much on meeting goals and forgetting they were human. I thanked them for sticking with me despite me being too strict. Surprisingly still, these people, my team, had found ways to affirm me as their leader. They had in turn thanked me for being with them. I guess, it is an example of humility that also gets them uplifted.
